the Ox-Demon-King

Ox Demon King is a fictional character in the novel Journey to the West. Some versions translated Bull King, but Ox Demon King sounds more approach to its Chinese words. Journey to the West protrays the most various characters I had ever seen in a fiction. The family of Ox-Demon-King foreshadows a lots of modern family legend. The King's wife is Princess Iron Fan. She has an extremely large iron fan which can creates giant whirlwinds. the novel introduced her when monkey king wants to borrow her fan. (In fact, Princess Iron Fan also has a cooler name called Raset Girl, and I am dying to know the english translation.)
That is the Ox-Demon-king's wife, and their child is the more noble Red Boy (Boy Sage King), he (mostly been transform into she in media, but the fiction indicates it is a boy)

It is an old mythology that the sun is formed by ten sun birds. they fly in a fixed schedule t0 give the world light. One day the order goes wrong and ten of them routine at the same time. As a result, crops shriveled in the fields, lakes and ponds dried up: the earth was severely damaged. So this mythological hero named 后羿 who is notable for his bowing skill. He shot the birds down one by one until the last one. The king hurried and haut him keep it for not turning the world total darkness. He thus kepthe last one, which consequently caused his tragedy of punished by the heaven.
